"Dronefield" is from a series-in-progress of through-composed pieces generated and performed on modular synthesizer. ~J "Ever Ending": Fully improvised dream pop, post-rock inspired. Performed live without rehearsal or sound check, recorded on iPhone. Bass guitar was overdubbed for the song's conclusion. Some of its atmosphere evokes a certain classic fantasy movie's soundtrack (hint: it's in the title). "Listening to JFK" was recorded live on an iPhone 6S with amplified electric guitar and effects along with an acousmatic sound source. The dispatch chatter heard in the background is layered with unknown soundscapes (courtesy of You Are Listening To) and reproduced through a 10mm speaker driver. Overall, the results were surprising - the live guitar and soundscapes are often blurred and at times very difficult to discern one from the other. Also, the iPhone is capable of producing usable audio despite relatively high SPL. This is the first of several more anticipated experiments in this medium. ~J /ELECTRONICA
"Cold Strive": Special thanks to Maximilian "Skelpolu" Pfeiffer for granting permission to produce and share this track. Please check out and support him at https://skelpolu.bandcamp.com/ ~J /HYBRID ORCHESTRAL
"William, Your Lot": The carillon bell hits are custom samples of the Belfry of Bruges as heard around midday. "Home" is a fragment reproduction of the Sinfonia of London Orchestra's performance as heard on the original film soundtrack from Robocop. /INDIE ROCK, POST-AMERICANA, ROOTS ROCK
